Danielle and Robert were recently married at the Gleddoch House Hotel, which isn’t a venue that I see all that often, but when I do, it’s always a thrill!

The gardens are great to work in, and in this case, we actually managed to have an outdoor ceremony, yes, an outdoor ceremony in Scotland – imagine!

Anyway, I’ll stop rambling, and start showing some images of the big day Winking smile

What’s this? designer shoes again? – yes, I need help Disappointed smile

The Bridal Prep, was hilarious – I’m not saying why though, that would break the Bride/Photographer code of ethics Winking smile

It really was raining later on, hence the sparkle effect in the last shot of the day … Love rain, just when you need it!

Susan and Stuart recently got married at Boturich castle, which sits on the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond – yes, cue the music Winking smile

As all of you will know by now, photographers have their own way of seeing things. We all have our own style, and approach to every shot. So, I was particularly flattered when Susan called me to ask if I would cover her big day. Smile

Why? well, she is actually a professional wedding photographer herself. Which adds a strange type of pressure, on top of the normal pressure that comes with the job.

Knowing that each, and every image was going to be scrutinised, not in the normal, expected way, but through the eyes of “another me” made the heart beat that little bit quicker! Broken heart

The location was nothing short of breath taking, and with the added pressure of a rain storm brewing at the end of the Loch, well, the stage was set for some drama Storm cloud

We had to duck and dive showers most of the day, but thankfully, the rain stopped for just long enough for us to grab what we were both hoping for Winking smile

Here are just a few shots from the day …
